The Mentoring Pinnacle, a track under our SMU Alumni Mentoring Programme, is a peer mentoring programme designed for our alumni. This programme aims to connect our final-year postgraduate students, fresh graduates and alumni (mentees) who are in the early stages of their career, with industry professionals (mentors) who have a wealth of experiences and established in their careers, to develop professional and interpersonal skills that will help mentees navigate the workplace and advance their careers.
Mentees can gain insights into industries, corporate culture, as well as transferable skills like active listening, career/personal goal-setting and professionalism.
This will also be an opportunity for Mentors to develop their own leadership and coaching skills, and possibly contribute to the long-term growth of their industry as they gain fresh insights into their own workplace.
The Mentoring Pinnacle takes place over six months, from August 2023 to January 2024.
