SMU Mentoring Pinnacle with DBS 2026 is opening soon.

Designed for early or mid-career SMU alumni, this mentoring track aims to build a strong and resilient SMU network of mentors, from our alumni and industry professionals who are ever ready to offer their time, talent and treasure to make a positive difference in the professional advancement and personal growth of our young alumni.

Mentoring Partner

Following on from a successful mentoring partnership from 2020 to 2025, we are privileged to yet again partner with DBS Bank to have 60 senior DBS staff who will be volunteering as mentors in this run of SMU Mentoring Pinnacle programme, to support our young alumni and postgraduate students.

DBS shares SMU’s vision of creating meaningful impact through education. As a purpose-driven organisation, DBS strives to create an impact beyond banking. People of Purpose (PoP) is DBS' employee volunteer movement that brings DBS' values to life, where volunteering efforts are sustained and focused on three areas – education, the elderly and the environment, across DBS' key markets.

Boasting a staff strength of more than 33,000 employees globally, DBS Bank takes pride in its most precious asset – human capital, and is spurred by its people’s relentless drive and passion. Together, DBS Bank and its employees strive to make a meaningful social impact through the investment of time, skills and effort.

With such global operations, DBS Bank is a microcosm of society’s workforce. The volunteer mentors hail from the Bank’s diverse teams, audit, banking & finance, human resource, marketing & communications, technology & operations, and legal. Individually, each mentor has accumulated a wealth of life and professional experiences (with at least 10 years of work experience) within and beyond DBS.
